EXECUTIVE SESSION The City Council for the City of Hutto reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above as authorized by the Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Litigation/Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations regarding real property), 551.073 (Deliberations regarding gifts and donations), 551.074 (Deliberations regarding personnel matters) or 551.076 (Deliberations regarding deployment/implementation of security personnel or devices) and 551.087 (Deliberations regarding Economic Development negotiations). 7.1. The City Council and the Hutto Economic Development Corporation Boards will recess its regular session and convene in Executive Session pursuant to §551.087 and §551.071 to deliberate with and seek legal counsel regarding economic development negotiations involving project Darwin.
Consideration and possible action on approving a budget amendment for the HEDC FY2022 Budget appropriating $500,000 from unappropriated funds to fund project Darwin. (HEDC)
Consideration and possible action on authorizing/ratifying the Hutto Economic Development Corporation Type B’s Executive Director’s execution of an Option Agreement executed by the property owner on October 13, 2021, to secure the exclusive option to purchase four tracts of land adjacent to the Megasite, as identified in the Option Agreement, which are necessary for the execution of Project Darwin.
