SO FOR THE MEGA SITE, WE HAVE, UH, ONE PROJECT ON THE AGENDAS TONIGHT FOR CONSIDERATION, AND THAT WOULD MAKE THE AVAILABLE LAND, UH, FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OUT THERE, JUST OVER A HUNDRED ACRES.

UM, ALL PROJECTS THAT ARE UNDER CONTRACT RIGHT NOW ARE MOVING THROUGH THEIR VARIOUS STAGES OF DUE DILIGENCE, UM, AND STAYING ON PACE AT THIS TIME.

AND THEN WE'LL CONTINUE TO PRI PROVIDE UPDATES, UM, AS WE MOVE FORWARD.

THE SPINAL CONSTRUCTION IS ALSO ON SCHEDULE, BUT AS MENTIONED AT THE LAST MEETING AND UM, BEING DISCUSSED AT THIS ONE, WE DO ANTICIPATE SOME CHALLENGES TO THE TIMELINE JUST DUE TO THE DRAINAGE DESIGN CHANGE.

I DO HAVE GOOD NEWS.

THOSE DESIGN CHANGES WERE APPROVED BY THE CITY ENGINEER TODAY, AND THEY WERE ALREADY SHARED WITH JORDAN FOSTER CONSTRUCTION AND THERE WERE NO CHANGES SINCE THE DRAFT WAS SHARED.

AND SO THEY'VE BEEN ABLE TO ALREADY START GOING THROUGH THAT AND FIGURING OUT WHAT THEIR CHANGE ORDER NEEDS TO LOOK LIKE AS WELL.

SO I'LL HAVE AN UPDATE ON THAT.

UM, BY MAY WE'LL HAVE IT SOONER, BUT I'LL PROVIDE, UH, TO THE BOARD FORMALLY IN MAY.

UM, THEY'RE ALSO WORKING ON THE DESIGN FOR THE REQUIRED FIRE ACCESS ROAD AT THE MEGA SITE.

UM, THAT IS BEING DONE IN-HOUSE AS A REMINDER.

SO CITY ENGINEERS FINALIZING THAT DESIGN AND HAS BEEN COMMUNICATING WITH THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, UH, AS IT WILL BE BUILT BY PUBLIC WORKS AS WELL, UM, TO MAKE SURE THAT HE'S AWARE OF THE DESIGN AND, AND WHAT'S GONNA BE NEEDED TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN QUICKLY.

UH, SO I'LL, UH, KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED ON THAT AS WELL.

COTTONWOOD PROPERTIES, THE $125,000 EXPENSE FOR THE SIX MONTH MOU WAS APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL ON THE FOURTH.

UM, THERE WAS AN EXPRESS SENSE OF URGENCY AROUND PROGRESS, SO THAT IS NEVER FAR FROM OUR MIND, OF COURSE.

UM, WE'VE BEEN SHARING DOCUMENTS AND INFORM INFORMATION WITH MIDWAY REGULARLY.

UM, AN EXAMPLE OF THAT MOST RECENTLY IS THE ATHLETIC FIELDS FEASIBILITY STUDY THAT THE THE PARKS DEPARTMENT DID.

UM, SO WE'VE SHARED THAT WITH THEM.

IT IS STILL TECHNICALLY A DRAFT.

IT'S NOT BEEN FORMALLY ADOPTED BY OR APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL YET, BUT THEY DO HAVE THAT DOCUMENT IN HAND.

WE ALSO HAVE A PENDING TAX INCREMENT FINANCING ANALYSIS THAT THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM IS ACTUALLY DOING.

UH, IT DOES FOCUS ON DOWNTOWN, BUT INCLUDES THE COTTONWOOD PROPERTIES AND THE CO-OP DISTRICT, UM, JUST FOR THE PURPOSES OF MARKET ANALYSIS.

SO WE'LL GET SOME INFORMATION FROM THAT AS WELL THAT WE'LL SHARE WITH THE BOARD AS WELL AS MIDWAY.

UH, THEY ARE ALSO GETTING CONNECTED TO GARVER, UM, NEXT MONTH.

UH, GARVER IS THE ONE THAT'S DESIGNING THE 79 1 32 OVERPASS THAT WILL DIRECTLY IMPACT THOSE PROPERTIES.

SO WE REALLY WANNA MAKE SURE THAT MIDWAY IS LOOPED IN AND CAN PROVIDE SOME EXPERTISE AND GUIDANCE ON HOW TO MAINTAIN GOOD ACCESS SO THAT WE'RE ABLE TO CAPITALIZE ON THOSE PROPERTIES MOVING FORWARD.

THE MARKETING ANALYST POSITION THAT I JUST SHARED, AS WELL AS TAYLOR ARRINGTON IS MOVING OVER FROM COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND OUTREACH, UM, TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO HEAD OFF OUR COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS AND SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.

SO THAT POSITION CAME OUT OF, UM, ALL OF THESE NEEDS THAT OUR COMMUNITY HAS THAT REQUIRE A LOT OF MONEY TO DO, UM, SUCH AS SOME FACILITIES THAT ARE ON THE HORIZON.

AND WE DO HAVE SOME REALLY GREAT COMPANIES THAT ARE CHOOSING TO LOCATE IN HU AND THEY HAVE FUNDS THAT THEY WANT TO SPEND IN OUR COMMUNITY.

SO WE REALLY NEED TO BE MORE INTENTIONAL ABOUT REACHING OUT TO THEM, LEVERAGING THOSE RELATIONSHIPS AND THOSE FUNDS AND ALIGNING THOSE.

SO SHE'S GONNA HELP, UH, LEAD THE CHARGE FOR THAT.

SO WE'RE REALLY EXCITED TO HAVE HER.

AND THEN THE FIFTH PERSON IS GOING TO BE CHARLOTTE GONZALEZ.

SHE'S MOVING OVER FROM OUR HR DEPARTMENT AND SHE WILL BE OUR MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT.
