ESSENTIALLY WHAT HAPPENED WITH THIS PROJECT IS AN SCR WAS RAN, AND OUR ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT TOLD THEM THAT THEY COULD NOT CONNECT TO OUR SYSTEMS UNTIL A CERTAIN DATE. BASED ON OTHER PROJECTS THAT WERE ONGOING THEY WORKED COLLABORATIVELY WITH OUR ENGINEERING TEAM AND TRIED TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR THEM TO CONNECT SOONER. AND ESSENTIALLY WHAT WAS WORKED OUT. AND I TRIED MY BEST TO KIND OF SPELL THAT OUT IN THE THE DOCUMENTATION THERE. THIS DEVELOPER IS HELPING TO COMPLETE A GRAVITY LINE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 79 THAT WILL RESULT IN THE DECOMMISSIONING OF THE. OH, THANK YOU, LAURA. SHE'S GOT ME. SORRY. CITY SECRETARY. WE CAN PROPOSE THOSE THAT SIX LANE SECTION WITHOUT A WHOLE LOT OF IMPACTS. IT STARTS TO CHANGE A WHOLE LOT. ONCE WE GET PAST REDFISH. LANE. SO WE PUT ON HERE, WE'VE LABELED THE THE MAJOR CONSTRAINTS. SO AGAIN, KIND OF GOING LEFT TO RIGHT, THERE'S THE EXISTING CHURCH THAT'S THERE ON THE SOUTH SIDE AND THEN CONTINUING ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE THERE'S THAT MECHANICAL BUILDING THAT HAS A BIG WATER STORAGE TANK. AND THEN AT THE CORNER OF ESSER SCHMIDT, THAT SOUTHERN CORNER IS AN EXISTING EXXON ON THE NORTH SIDE. THERE'S A C STORES DEVELOPMENT. SO IT'S GAS STATION IS RIGHT THERE AT THE CORNER OF SCHMIDT. THEY ALSO HAVE A DETENTION POND TO THE, TO THE WEST OF OF THAT FOR THAT FACILITY. THEY'RE TURNING DIRT ON THAT NOW. I THINK THE CONSTRUCTION STARTED THERE BACK IN BACK IN AUGUST. SO SO I GOING BACK SO THEY'VE STARTED TURNING DIRT, AND YOU HAVE A PROPOSED RIGHT OF WAY LINE THAT GOES TO THEIR CANOPY. YES. BUT ONE OF THE OTHER COMMENTS WAS ABOUT THE NUMBER OF LANES THAT'S BEING PROPOSED. SOME HAD EXPRESSED THAT SIX LANES, THEY FELT LIKE THAT WAS THAT WAS TOO MUCH. SO THE THE BIG, BIG REVISION THAT I HAVEN'T, YOU KNOW, TALKED ABOUT HERE JUST YET IS THAT THIS IS SHOWING A FOUR LANE SECTION INSTEAD OF A SIX LANE SECTION TO GET OUT OF SOME OF THOSE IMPACTS TO BOTH THE C STORES THAT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. AND THE AND EVERYTHING ON THE BOTTOM SIDE THERE. THE, THE CHURCH, THE WATER STORAGE TANK AND THE EXXON GAS STATION. SO PART OF THE PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT WAS COORDINATING WITH THESE STAKEHOLDERS. SO THE C STORES WAS IS A MAJOR STAKEHOLDER. SO THEY HAD ASKED FOR A NARROWER SECTION, AND THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE SEEING ON THE BOTTOM SIDE. THERE WAS SOME GOOD COLLABORATION THERE WHERE THEY REVISED SOME OF THEIR SITE TO BE [01:50:02] OUT OF CONFLICT WITH OUR WITH THE PROPOSED RIGHT OF WAY, LIKE THEIR, THEIR INTERNAL DRIVEWAY, THEY ENDED UP SHIFTING THAT THERE'S NO CONFLICTS WITH GAS TANKS OR, OR CANOPIES. AS YOU CAN SEE HERE IN THIS IN THIS UPDATE AND THEN SHRINKING IT TO A FOUR LANE SECTION ALSO REDUCES GREATLY THE IMPACTS ON THE PROPERTIES ON THE, ON THE SOUTH SIDE AS WELL. I, YOU KNOW, I MENTIONED AT THE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PRESENTATION THAT LIMMER HAS BEEN PROPOSED TO BE, TO BE A MAJOR ARTERIAL, THAT SIX LANE SECTION THAT'S SUPPOSED TO CARRY, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF TRAFFIC AT A RELIABLE SPEED. WHEN YOU REDUCE THIS TO A FOUR LANE SECTION, YOU COMPROMISE THAT A LITTLE BIT. SO INSTEAD OF HAVING THAT RELIABLE, STABLE TRAFFIC YOU KNOW, IF YOU HAVE YOUR GOOGLE MAPS ON, IT'S SHOWING UP AS GREEN OR BLUE. YOU'RE GOING THROUGH IT IN THIS IN THIS FOUR LANE SECTION, YOU START TO SEE THAT KIND OF LIKE YELLOW WHERE THERE'S A BIT MORE TRAFFIC BUILT UP. AND SO THAT'S KIND OF THE, THE GIVE AND TAKE THERE. SO I THINK THAT'S, YOU KNOW, THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HERE TODAY IS TO CONVEY THESE FINDINGS CONVEY WHAT WE HEARD FROM THE PUBLIC, A POTENTIAL TO REDUCE THE SECTION TO A FOUR LANES AND GET OUT OF SOME OF THOSE THOSE MAJOR IMPACTS BUT ALSO TO CONVEY THAT IT WOULD BE OUT OF ALIGNMENT WITH THE THOROUGHFARE PLAN, AND YOU WOULD HAVE A LOWER LEVEL OF SERVICE FOR TRAFFIC THROUGH THIS SECTION. THE ADJACENT SECTION IS GOING TO HAVE SOME VERY SIMILAR CONSTRAINTS. SO WHAT'S THE COST DIFFERENCE? BECAUSE THAT DOES GIVE ME A LITTLE BIT OF PAUSE THERE. BECAUSE I CAN I CAN FORESEE IN THE FUTURE US THEN GOING TO HAVE GOING BACK AND HAVING TO TAKE THE RIGHT OF WAY. THAT'S EXPONENTIALLY MORE MONEY. AND THEN MAKING IT RIGHT. BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THAT A FOUR LANE ROAD LONG TERM, THIS IS A THIS IS OUR ONLY NORTH EAST WEST ROAD THAT'S GOING TO COME THROUGH TOWN. SO THERE'S GOING TO BE A COST DIFFERENCE IN JUST CONSTRUCTION COSTS. THERE'S OBVIOUSLY MORE PAVEMENT INVOLVED WITH THE SIX LANE SECTION THAN THE FOUR LANE SECTION. BUT THERE'S ALSO THE CONSIDERATIONS OF THERE ARE GOING TO BE IMPACTS. SO BOTH UTILITIES MORE PROPOSED RIGHT AWAY FROM YOUR C STORES AND THE THE EXXON.
